We're making the world-famous Shake Shack Sauce right at home. Make this delicious sauce for your Copycat Shake Shack Burger, fries, and even chicken nuggets—it's so good, and so versatile. It's creamy, tangy, and has just a hint of smokiness which takes it to the next level.
The best part? It's only five ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, and it comes together in just a few minutes.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO MAKE THIS RECIPE
- Mayonnaise — for the creamy base. I use either Hellmann's or Kewpie.
- Ketchup — for a little sweetness. I use Heinz.
- Dijon Mustard — for a little tang. Obviously, I'm using Grey Poupon.
- Pickle Brine — just a little pickle juice goes a long way.
- Cayenne Pepper — for just a touch of heat.

PRO TIPS FOR MAKING THIS RECIPE
- Make it Smoky. For a slightly smokier flavor, try adding a pinch of smoked paprika.
- Sub Relish. If you don't have any pickle juice/brine, you can substitute relish instead—just note that it will change the textures.
- Store for 5 Days. This sauce should stay good in your fridge for up to five days.
