Expert Tips for Making Copycat In-N-Out Sauce
- Refrigerate the sauce. The longer you can let the sauce sit in the fridge, the better. Give it at least 30 minutes, but more than an hour is ideal—this gives the sauce the chance to meld together and develop fully.
- Mix thoroughly. Take the time to mix all of the ingredients together really well. This gives the In-N-Out sauce better consistency and a more even flavor.
- Use distilled white vinegar. This is not the time to substitute red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar. The distilled white vinegar is key to getting the tang from the classic In-N-Out sauce.
