Total Time: 50 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 20 pepperoni slices
  • 1 tsp BBQ rub
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Spread the cream cheese evenly in the bottom of a small cast iron pan.
  • Sprinkle half of the mozzarella on top.
  • Pour pizza sauce over the cheese and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and parmesan on top.
  • Arrange pepperoni slices evenly across the top.
  • Sprinkle with BBQ rub and red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
  • Place the pan in the smoker and cook for about 45 minutes at 250F, until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and slightly golden.
  • Let it cool slightly, then serve with toasted bread, pita chips, or garlic knots.

Notes

  • Want More Toppings? Add cooked sausage, mushrooms, or even olives before smoking.
  • Cheese Swap: Try a mix of cheddar and provolone for a sharper, more complex cheese flavor
  • Crispier Pepperoni? Pop the dip under a broiler for 2-3 minutes after smoking to get that crispy, slightly charred pepperoni top.
  • Best Dippers: Toasted baguette slices, garlic knots, pita chips, or even soft pretzels.
