- 20 pepperoni slices
- 1 tsp BBQ rub
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Spread the cream cheese evenly in the bottom of a small cast iron pan.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella on top.
- Pour pizza sauce over the cheese and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and parmesan on top.
- Arrange pepperoni slices evenly across the top.
- Sprinkle with BBQ rub and red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
- Place the pan in the smoker and cook for about 45 minutes at 250F, until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and slightly golden.
- Let it cool slightly, then serve with toasted bread, pita chips, or garlic knots.
Notes
- Want More Toppings? Add cooked sausage, mushrooms, or even olives before smoking.
- Cheese Swap: Try a mix of cheddar and provolone for a sharper, more complex cheese flavor
- Crispier Pepperoni? Pop the dip under a broiler for 2-3 minutes after smoking to get that crispy, slightly charred pepperoni top.
- Best Dippers: Toasted baguette slices, garlic knots, pita chips, or even soft pretzels.
