Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese 1 block
  • 2 tbsp BBQ rub
  • 2 tbsp hot honey

Instructions

  • Score cream cheese in a crosshatch pattern and place it in a foil tray.
  • Season with BBQ rub, ensuring full coverage on all sides.
  • Drizzle hot honey over the top, letting it seep into the grooves.
  • Smoke at 225F for 1.5 hours until golden-brown and puffed.
  • Remove from smoker, drizzle additional hot honey, and serve with chips or veggies.

Notes

  • Choose Your Rub. Sweet and smoky rubs work best for this recipe, but feel free to use your favorite rub here.
  • Foil Tray. Using a foil tray not only simplifies cleanup but also catches all the melted goodness—perfect for dipping.
  • Extra Toppings. Sprinkle on fresh herbs or crumbled bacon for an added layer of flavor and texture.
  • Make It Your Own. Try different hot honeys or infuse your own with chili flakes for a unique twist.
