Ingredients
- 3 garlic heads 1 block
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 tbsp BBQ rub
- 1/3 cup chopped green onions
- 1/3 cup chopped chives
Instructions
- Roast garlic in oven at 375°F for 1 hour with olive oil and BBQ rub.
- Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, 1 cup mozzarella, and cheddar in a bowl.
- Mash in roasted garlic and stir inBBQ rub.
- Spread mixture in skillet, top with mozzarella, and smoke at 250°F for 45 minutes to an hour.
- Remove from smoker, drizzle additional hot honey, and serve with chips or veggies.
Notes
- Cheese Variations. You can make this dip with pretty much any cheese combination, though I do like the cream cheese for the extra creaminess. Feel free to substitute with parmesan or Gruyère for a different flavor.
- Make Ahead. You can make the base a day ahead, and just pop it into your smoker the day-of to make things super simple.
