This creamy homemade ranch dressing is tangy, fresh, and loaded with herbs, perfect for salads or as a dip.

Ingredients  

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk adjust for desired consistency
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Whisk together buttermilk, sour cream, and mayonnaise in a medium bowl.
  • Stir in the chopped dill, parsley, and chives.
  • Add the garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs whenever possible for the best flavor, but dried herbs can work in a pinch.
  • Adjust the consistency by adding more buttermilk if you prefer a thinner dressing.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
