This homemade blue cheese dressing will make you never want to buy store-bought again! Use it as a dipping sauce with buffalo wings and enjoy—it comes together in just five minutes.
SERVINGS
Servings: 6 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbled by hand
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the mayo, sour cream, and buttermilk—and mix well.
  • Add the garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt & pepper, and mix.
  • Gently fold in the blue cheese chunks. Adjust the amount of blue cheese to your liking.
  • Refrigerate the blue cheese for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together. Then serve, and enjoy.

Notes

  • Buy a full "block" of blue cheese. This is key—don't buy the pre-crumbled blue cheese. It's not nearly as good. Buy the full block, and crumble it yourself. Trust me.
  • Adjust the buttermilk. The amount of buttermilk you add will affect how thin or thick your blue cheese is. I prefer a thicker blue cheese for wings. But if you want to thin it out a little to put it on a salad, add a little more buttermilk until you get it to the consistency you prefer.
