Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp buttermilk
- 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbled by hand
- 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the mayo, sour cream, and buttermilk—and mix well.
- Add the garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt & pepper, and mix.
- Gently fold in the blue cheese chunks. Adjust the amount of blue cheese to your liking.
- Refrigerate the blue cheese for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together. Then serve, and enjoy.
Notes
- Buy a full "block" of blue cheese. This is key—don't buy the pre-crumbled blue cheese. It's not nearly as good. Buy the full block, and crumble it yourself. Trust me.
- Adjust the buttermilk. The amount of buttermilk you add will affect how thin or thick your blue cheese is. I prefer a thicker blue cheese for wings. But if you want to thin it out a little to put it on a salad, add a little more buttermilk until you get it to the consistency you prefer.
