5 from 1 vote
Alabama white sauce gets a smoky twist in this unique recipe. Perfect for grilling, it's a tangy, creamy delight that elevates any BBQ dish.
SERVINGS
Servings: 1 cup
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Refrigeration Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp creamy horseradish
  • 1.5 tsp spicy brown mustard
  • 1.5 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt, pepper, garlic powder seasoning mixed together

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients into a small bowl. Stir and mix thoroughly to combine.
  • Place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the ingredients to come together.
  • Serve on your favorite smoked chicken recipe and ENJOY!

Notes

  • Substitutions. If you don't have a seasoning blend, just use a mix of ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, and ¼ teaspoon garlic powder.
  • Consistency. This recipe makes a thicker version of the traditional Alabama white sauce. If you prefer yours thinner, you can use prepared horseradish instead of horseradish cream, or you can just a little more apple cider vinegar.
  • Storage. You can store this sauce in your fridge for up to a week.
