This homemade buffalo sauce tastes amazing on smoked chicken wings and is so easy to make. With just five ingredients and only a little bit of prep, this super-tasty buffalo sauce comes together in under ten minutes. So much better than store-bought.

Homemade Buffalo Sauce Ingredients
- 1.5 cups hot sauce. Use your favorite here. For me, it's Frank's Hot Sauce.
- 1/3 stick butter. If you can, soften it a bit ahead of time.
- 4 cloves garlic. Minced. Tastes amazing with the butter!
- 1 tbsp white distilled vinegar. For a clean, crisp bite.
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce. Savory and tangy.
Homemade Buffalo Sauce Recipe Instructions

1. Melt the butter. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the garlic. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix in the hot sauce, white distilled vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce with a wooden spoon.
4. Bring to a simmer. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly. Serve immediately with wings and blue cheese while still warm.
